Hey! I'm Piper Strasel, and I started my studio upon graduating from Parsons School of Design in 2017. In the simplest of terms, PS91studio was named after myself (my initials and birth year).

In a grander sense, it’s a reference to the public school numbering system. My dream for PS91 is to one day become a studio space that promotes accessible education and collaborative spaces for photographers and artists of all kinds. I wholeheartedly believe creative knowledge should be shared and celebrated amongst others. Community is vital to creativity, and access to these spaces should be available to all.

In the meantime while building towards that goal, I’ve focused my talents towards offering exceptional wedding & portrait photography services. Photographing a wedding day is such a perfect merging of my skills, combining my intuitive and curious nature to tell the story of your biggest day while capturing flattering candids as well as thoughtfully posed portraits.

With a BFA in Photography and over 17 years of experience with portraiture & documentary work, the transition to weddings was natural and has been incredbily thrilling. It’s an honor to work with each and every couple who chooses PS91 to capture such an monumental day, and it brings me immense joy to deliver intimate, raw, beautiful, and personal galleries.
